FA Sports Management Launching in Canada
FA Sports Management https://fasports.co.uk/ are delighted to announce that they will be launching in Canada. Ian McClurg who operates Ian McClurg Learn Perform Coaching in Ancaster, Ontario will be working with FA Sports Management Director Darren Finch to identify players in Canada capable of pursuing professional playing pathways and assisting them on their journey.
FA Sports Management is currently operating in 3 countries and is a player agency consisting of an experienced team of business leaders, coaches and scouts fully committed to helping young players maximize their playing potential and achieve their soccer goals.
Ian is a UEFA A licensed coach and PFSA licensed scout who has operated player development programs in Ontario for over 25 years. He has successfully helped to identify, develop and place players at professional clubs in the UK and other European markets. He has worked with over 20 players who have went on to represent Canada at the international level and will be combining his role in Canada with a similar role in Northern Ireland.
Ian has already began to identify prospects through his monthly series of Player ID events and FA Sports Management will be operating trials events during March break and July of 2023 - in addition to Ian McClurg Learn Perform’s monthly Player ID events.
Canada is an emerging market for soccer talent and the national team has qualified for the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar. In addition, their new professional league, the Canadian Premier League (CPL), is now developing and transferring players to some of the top leagues in Europe.
