Any player aspiring to pursue opportunities in European professional clubs needs to compare their current performance levels to academy players and develop an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) to reach the required standards. Our Pro Trials Player ID events provide benchmark performance data and an ILP for improvement towards academy standards. We arrange an interview with each player and their parents to map out the best pathway to pursue opportunities. Each player will receive an offer for a program matched to their performance levels.

Yes, our Player ID events are open to male and female players. We encourage all talented players to showcase their skills to advance their soccer careers. Our UEFA A licensed coach, Ian McClurg, has guided players from Canada’s women’s national team and helped place female players in European clubs.

Yes, our events are open to players in all positions, including goalkeepers. We provide training and trial opportunities in Europe for players in every position.

Players should bring their soccer gear, including cleats and shin guards, water, and any personal medical supplies. Additionally, we recommend a positive attitude and readiness to showcase your best skills.

Players are assessed through technical and physical benchmark tests. Evaluations focus on individual skills, game understanding, and physical fitness, providing a comprehensive overview of each player’s abilities.

We have successfully helped players secure professional contracts in top leagues like the EPL and La Liga, and other European leagues. Additionally, over 100 players have obtained US scholarships, and over 20 male and female players have represented Canada internationally. Last year alone, we placed over 30 players at professional clubs in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Germany. Many players have gained invaluable experience training and playing at European professional clubs.

Due to FIFA regulations, players under 18 from North America cannot sign with European professional clubs. However, we can arrange trials for players aged 18+ if their performance levels are high enough. For those under 18, we offer placements in academy training sessions at professional clubs and opportunities to compete in top youth tournaments against teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Barcelona. This exposure helps them get scouted effectively.

Attending a Pro Trials ID event helps North American players understand the performance levels needed to succeed in Europe. Gaining experience prepares them to compete for contracts when they turn 18. We also offer opportunities for players under 18 to train and play as registered players in Spain and to train and play in the UK, Portugal, and Italy while continuing their education.

Yes, the professional clubs we work with prioritize education alongside soccer development. Players can continue their studies online, and some clubs provide additional educational support. This allows players to maintain high academic standards while training and competing at a high level. Clubs recognize the importance of education for all players, ensuring a balanced approach to developing athletic and academic skills.
